EARLSFIELD (PACIFIC) SPECIAL STEEL LTD was registered in 1991 in Dublin, Ireland as an international trading house for specialty steels, with the office in London. In 1999 the company was incorporated in Cyprus (registration certificate # HE 391581). From the very outset we focused our activities on dealing with tool and high speed steels. From the wide variety of industrial applications of this type of steels the machine knife and mold making was in the center of our attention. Starting from catering substantial stockholders of specialty steels we gradually shifted to end users –manufacturers of knives and molds .Accordingly ,our business model has changed to better satisfy their specific needs .
Initially our main source for steel product was Ukrainian specialty steel manufacturer Dneprospetsstal (DSS). For many years we used to be their official distributor of tool and high speed steels. Slovenian Metal Ravne mill also occupied substantial part in our vendor list.

In 2004 we registered our representative office in Shenzhen, China (registration certificate # 0134237) and since then we have set up the physical presence there.
In the same year we reached the distribution agreement with two major local manufacturers of tool and high speed steels-Chancheng and Dongbei Specialty Steel Mills.
Later, in 2011 to ensure the steady growth and to gain the sufficient leverage on decision making we entered into the comprehensive partnership with the local specialty steel manufacturer Sichuan LiuHe Special Metal Materials Co.Ltd. which has become our manufacturing base .The efficient management ,competent staff and good work discipline have contributed greatly to the high and consistent quality of product and allowed the development of new types of tool steel product with the specific consumers’ requirements. In order to cut lead time and speed up delivery we keep at the mill an extensive stock of ingots and billets ready for conversion  as per customer’s specification. Nowadays, we produce and distribute steel product in Europe, USA, Canada, Mexico,the Middle East and South Africa.

The product range practically covers all grades included in the industry standards DIN EN ISO 4957, ASTM A681 and ASTM A600. The wide variety of available shapes, sizes and heat treatment conditions enable us to meet the customers’ needs.

In pursuit of diversifying the product range and in order to provide our customers with comprehensive services we included in our portfolio as complementary product bearing steel hollow bars, and tool steel sheets and plates. This further enhanced our position in the market of tool steels especially in relation to knife making industry.
All products undergo pre-sale inspection before shipment and are accompanied by mills’ quality certificates. We ensure the full traceability of products from melting to its packaging.

It is appropriate to mention here that before we joined Sichuan LiuHe Forging Co. the mill had collected a reach experience in manufacturing heat-and corrosion resistant steels. it currently covers about 30% of the local market demand for turbine associated materials and they have successfully promoted it in international  markets. We have readily got involved in developing and marketing this type of steel product specifically applicable to the the relevant industries.
